A 2D rotating LiDAR, simulated in the browser. Every point is a real ray cast against the floorplan — range falls off with distance and with the angle the beam strikes a surface, so square-on walls return bright and grazing ones return faint. Nothing here is pre-baked.

Drag the pointer to drive the sensor head; arrow keys and WASD work too. The cloud decays like phosphor rather than being redrawn, so the per-frame cost scales with new returns instead of total points.
